Introduction

Since its establishment in 1955, the UP-PGH Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes
and Metabolism continues to nurture competent and socially responsible fellows through
its excellent training program with the ultimate purpose of rendering quality service to
Filipino patients. 157 graduates, who are leaders in endocrine care, education, and
research, are presently serving their respective communities. Parallel to the Department
of Medicine, its pillars are SERVICE, TRAINING, and RESEARCH.
